Yesterday, President Trump ordered a freeze on federal grant funding, putting essential programs at risk, including the majority of Health Outreach Partners' programs. While a federal judge has temporarily blocked the freeze, HOP remains deeply concerned about the future of our work and the communities we serve.
In 2024, HOP provided critical training and support to health centers nationwide, including:
25 virtual training sessions for more than 3,800 health center staff
14 in-person training workshops reaching 355 participants (64% from unique health centers)
4 health education publications with 1,213 downloads and 42,000 page views of our resources.
Our work is critical to the support of our nation’s health centers. Having spent 35 years working on the front lines, knowing this support exists was often the lifeline our teams needed to provide compassionate and quality care to our patients. This funding pause jeopardizes our ability to continue providing these vital services. To sustain operations during this uncertainty, we must raise $65,000.
How You Can Help:
Together, we can protect community health. Stand with HOP today!
With gratitude,
Cynthia Selmi
